About the Artist

My work grows from an inner maternal space, guided by love, care, and a devotion to slowness. I build my surfaces from antique paper found in reuse stores, tearing them into soft-edged pieces and assembling them at a large scale. This time-intensive process allows a close relationship to form with each piece and reflects the nurturing energy behind my work.
Many of my images emerge after time spent with important women in my life. These moments inspire quiet drawings of women alone or together, shaped through small, repetitive pencil marks and subtle color.
In a culture that often values speed, my practice offers stillness, rest, and connection. Influenced by growing up as a twin, my work reflects intimacy and presence, creating space for viewers to slow down, feel held, and reconnect
In 2024, I received a BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus in painting and material studies. Currently, I live and work in Austin, Texas.
